A Written History of Tinaroo Sailing Club

Calling all longer term members. Please have a look at this draft of our club's history and let us know what else to include (or what to change).

This draft is largely the work of club stalwart Joe Miller (for whose efforts we are very grateful). Since handing over his draft manuscript, our freelance author and committee member Petrea McCarthy has been tweaking and amending, but there is plenty of scope for further improvements.

Click below to read what we have so far. We would appreciate any additions or corrections - at this stage it is just a draft. There is much more contributed material yet to be included, and our thanks go to those members and former members who have taken the trouble to send in their photos and reminisces.

If you have had a long association with our club, and find yourself with some "time on your hands", why not offer to take on the continued improvement of this document or send us some more content. All contributions welcome.
