Hi ladies, On Saturday the 15th of July we will be hosting a fun day of ladies only sailing at Tinaroo Sailing Club. The aim is to have a fun weekend of sailing, socialise and toast our efforts around a fire. The following day Sunday the 16th July, is a regular club day.  

Please arrive by 9:30am to rig for a 10:00am start. There will be on and off water sessions where we can focus on race and general sailing skills. Whatever your skill level, the weekend is aimed at building confidence in your sailing abilities and just getting out on the water and having a good time.

The cost is $30 per person. This covers training, boat hire (if needed) and camping fees. 

There will be no catering, but club facilities open for use as usual. So simply bring sailing gear, your boat (if you have one), food and camping gear depending on if you staying the night or not.

Please note this is not a learn to sail weekend but that does not mean you need to be a skipper or avid sailor to participate.

A Discover Sailing Day is for anyone wanting to visit a sailing club and discover sailing for the first time.

Outcome

You will have experienced sailing and have been introduced to your local Sailing Club, who will have provided you with information on what other opportunities, courses and activities are on offer that will enable you to continue your participation in sailing.
